Το πιλοτικό έργο «Code my city» του Τμήματος Καινοτομίας και Βέλτιστων Πρακτικών του Υπουργείου Διοικητικής Ανασυγκρότησης  σχεδιάστηκε με στόχο την ανάλυση των συνθηκών που θα μπορούσαν να ευνοήσουν την ανάπτυξη της καινοτομίας στην εκπαίδευση, μετατρέποντας τις σχολικές αίθουσες σε πραγματικά εργαστήρια.

Innovation Lab: Promoting Innovative Thinking and Collaboration 0 (0)

Is there a way to motivate public, private and third sector actors to work together for a common goal? What could be considered a ‘common goal’ for bodies belonging to different sectors of society and the economy? Is there a way to find common ground between spaces ruled by strong dividing lines, so as to produce actions with multiplier effects for citizens, businesses and specific categories of population?

The development of digital skills, the encouragement of innovation and ultimately the sharing of knowledge, through the exchange of experiences in the field of digital skills for learning, have been at the core of the meeting of public administration, private and third sector representatives in an innovation workshop ( innovation lab) organized by the Unit of Innovation,Ministry of Interior.

The Innovation Lab was based on the following basic principles:

  • Cooperation. We believe in working together, sharing ideas and solving problems as a community,
  • Orientation to ideas. We believe in new ideas and believe that the best opportunities for learning come from them,
  • Orientation to participation. We believe in creating an environment conducive to the development of synergies through the participation and interaction of representatives with the appropriate know-how.

Code Week Event

“Let’s code, girls ‘n’ boys!!!” event- EU Code Week 0 (0)

On October, 20th and 21st, 108 primary school students from various areas of the country participated in “Let’s code, girls ‘n’ boys!!!” coding event at the National Library of Greece at Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre (SNFCC).

The event was organised by Unit of Innovation and Best Practices (Ministry of Administrative Reconstruction), in collaboration with Oracle Academy (http://academy.oracle.com), supported by Revive Greece (http://revivegreece.org/) and Open Technologies Alliance-GFOSS  (www.eellak.gr ) and is part of the actions of EU Code Week.

The Minister of Administrative Reconstruction, Ms. M. Xenogiannakopoulou, welcomed the participants. Greetings were also addressed by the Head of General Directorate of Public Organisations, Mr. N. Michalopoulos, the Head of Unit of Innovation and Best Practices, Mr. C. Kokkalas, the PR & the Corporate Citizenship Specialist, GCMM cluster of countries, Oracle Hellas, Ms. E. Tsipa and Mr. T. Dalla Vecchia from European Schoolnet Network via Skype. Moreover, the General Secretary of the Ministry of Administrative Reconstruction Mr. G. Theodorakis, the General Directorate of the National Library of Greece, Mr. P. Tsimpoglou, the Country Leader of Oracle Hellas, Mr. A.
