“We need new information systems, interoperability, resources and knowledge……”
It’s a real experiment: what we learned from the workshop
Representatives from a wide range of public sector organisations contributed to the emergence of needs for personal skills and the application of specific methodologies and tools in the way they work, like the development of digital thinking, the application of systems thinking approach where the citizen is part of the provision of public services as a co-producer or co-creator, process management by senior executives, the development of innovation skills for continuous improvement.
“Emphasis on the development of strong units rather than heroic units”
After the Workshop, Innovation and Best Practices Unit analysed the information gathered and with the new data, we continue to process DESI indicators, aiming to deliver the first reports on the level of e-government based on DESI indicators.
The need for innovation skills which were identified, are now a valuable input for the design of a new community support workshop.
