Unit of Innovation and Best Practices,Ministry of Interior, designs the innovation policy in the greek public administration, supports public organisations to develop their innovation capability and administrative transformation  and plans and implements actions aimed at developing innovation in the public sector.

Strategic desing on innovation policy, circulars, guides, methodologies and publication of research which public bodies can use as tools to develop their innovation capacity.

The Innovation Observatory for the greek public administration aims to gather and share the innovations of public organisations at national and international level. At the same time, networking and participation of public sector officials in the Innovation Network is supported in order to highlight common challenges and solve problems.
